Mississippi Legislature

The Legislature and the Nov. 3 ballot

Mississippi elects its whole Legislature in odd-numbered years; all 122 House seats and all 52 Senate seats are next on the ballot in November 2027. Two House seats left vacant by members' deaths, Districts 70 and 77, are filled in nonpartisan special elections on November 3; if no candidate wins a majority, the top two meet in a runoff on December 1. Senate District 34's special election is on December 22. Enter your address to see your districts.
