Oklahoma Legislature

The Legislature and the Nov. 3 ballot

All 101 House seats and 25 of the 48 Senate seats are up this year: the even-numbered Senate districts and, in a special election for the rest of its term, District 17. Fifty-five House races and 15 Senate races are on the November 3 ballot. The other seats were settled earlier: in 34 only one candidate qualified, and Oklahoma prints no race with one candidate; in 22 only one party's candidates filed, and its June 16 primary or August 25 runoff chose the winner. Seats not on that ballot: the one candidate left on the Board's 2026 candidate filing list book after withdrawals and contests of candidacy, or the winner of the only party's primary in the Board's official results of June 16 and August 25.
